The HIV Services Mission is:
-to care for and guide people with HIV through various social and medical services;
-to empower clients to be as self-sufficient and health conscious as possible;
-to educate, refer, and encourage client responsibility through active program participation and political advocacy.
-to actively prevent the further spread of HIV
-to make most effective use of current resources while pursuing other funding sources .
The outcome of our program is to benefit/serve the entire HIV affected community.
The purpose of Case Management is to benefit/serve the HIV+ individual within the guidelines of the program.
The HIV Services Division consists of comprehensive programs designed to implement the prevention, risk reduction, testing of HIV and the overall case management of those living with HIV/AIDS.

Southern Illinois HIV Care Connect Program (SIHCC)
HIV/AIDS CARE – FOR THOSE LIVING WITH HIV
- Lead Agency for case management of HIV+ individuals in the lower 19 counties of Illinois.
- Guide HIV+ clients through various social and medical services .
- Actively work with those living with HIV to prevent the further spread.
- Provide support group for those living with HIV.
- Provide emergency housing, utility and transportation assistance.
- Facilitate HIV Advisory Board to incorporate community involvement.
HIV OUTREACH AND TREATMENT ADHERENCE
- Efforts made to reach out into the community to those who are HIV+ but not in care.
- Efforts made to reach those already in care with Treatment Adherence support.
HIV PREVENTION & TESTING
- Provide HIV Prevention education and risk reduction programs to high risk groups in coordination with community partners.
- Provide HIV testing to high risk individuals at Outreach Sites. Provide routine testing for partners of HIV+ clients. Testing Sites .
